La Mer

The coastline here is magnificent.  We drove to the town of Hondarribia, to the lighthouse on the point, and followed the trail south for about 5 kilometers.   It was a good workout for us Floridians, and the smell of the gorse in the sun and pine in the forrest, the salt in the air and the crashing waves, made this an amazing hike.  This is actually where the backside of Mt. Jaizkibel meets the sea.  The symbol on the marker is Basque.
