An introduction to the Metro and to Père Lachaise Cemetary finished out our Sunday. Opened in 1804, the Cemetary is the resting place of many Paris celebrities - Edith Piaf, Gertrude Stein, and Chopin to Jim Morrison. It's a real treasure hunt in this 100 acre space of graves at every angle, of every shape and size, where a 3x7 foot plot will run you €11,000. We only had time to begin the hunt, but I did find Oscar Wilde's grave with red lipstick kisses.
