The Musée d'Orsay

Housed in a converted train station, the Orsay is the Mecca of Impressionism and beyond (1848-1914). You see just how radical the Impressionist's way of seeing and subject matter was from the convention of the time.   A few of my favorites below- a middle Renoir, a Monet and of course a van Gogh.
