Cap de Creus

Cap de Creus is the eastern most part of Spain that juts  into the Mediterranean.   It is a prickly landscape of gorse and brush, with waves of swallows feasting on red berries.   The sound of their rushing by us was thrilling.  We spotted this huge limestone outcropping and decided it would be the perfect place for our picnic, before hiking to the point to enjoys the coastal views.
