St-Jean-de-Luz

Our first excursion with Bill and Mary Love was a hike to St.-Jean-de-Luz.   Walking around St. Barbe Point, the town opened up before us in a huge scallop shell, lined with sandy beaches.  Strolling down the pedestrian streets, we slipped in and put of shops, and bought some small Gateaux de Basque, a regional speciality.
